The ball features a precision-ground V-shaped notch (30°, 60°, or 90°). This design creates a nearly equal percentage flow characteristic, offering a high rangeability (100:1) for accurate throttling compared to standard round-port valves.
✅Shearing Action for Pulp & Slurry
During closing, the V-notch creates a powerful shearing action against the metal or soft seat. This effectively cuts through wood fibers, granules, and suspended solids, preventing clogging in paper pulp and wastewater pipelines.
✅Smart Modulating Electric Actuator
Integrated with the DELCO-10 Series Actuator, featuring a compact design with a built-in servo module. It accepts 4-20mA or 0-10V input signals to position the valve accurately, with IP67 protection for harsh environments.
✅Robust Seat Configuration
To handle high-velocity throttling, the valve utilizes reinforced seats. Options include Metal-to-Metal (Stellite) for abrasive/high-temp media or RPTFE for tight shutoff in chemical applications, ensuring long-term sealing integrity.
✅Direct Mounting & Compact Structure
The ISO 5211 mounting pad allows the electric actuator to be mounted directly to the valve without brackets, reducing hysteresis and installation space. Flanges are machined to ANSI 150/300, DIN PN16/40, and JIS 10K for global compatibility.
